The challenge: A territorial program in one of the most important conservation corridors in Cauca, which needed field delivery and a solid formal close.
What we did: We supported field delivery through project close, with technical and administrative follow-up.
Outcome: Formal close with a signed close-out and a consolidated final report.

Integrated management system and healthcare waste plan

The challenge: A healthcare provider with five sites needed to bring quality, environment and laboratory into one system, and to manage its healthcare waste rigorously.
What we did: We coordinate the integrated management system toward ISO 9001, 14001 and 15189, with environmental management as the pilot process, and train staff on the healthcare waste plan.
Outcome: Five sites in a single management system and staff trained with before and after evaluation.

Carbon in strategic wetlands of the Orinoco plains

The challenge: A publicly funded science, technology and innovation project on carbon stocks in the wetlands of Casanare and Meta needed to make sure its environmental results would last.
What we did: We prepared the environmental sustainability reference plan, focused on the permanence of biophysical results and ecosystem services.
Outcome: Two years of planned continuity after project close.

Wildlife sampling and mapping in Buenaventura

The challenge: An industrial operation in Buenaventura needed to know the wildlife in its area of influence and to have reliable mapping for its environmental management.
What we did: We designed the sampling points, carried out the fieldwork and delivered thematic mapping of the area of influence.
Outcome: Georeferenced information ready for the environmental follow-up of the operation.

04 Nature-based solutions

Wetlands, gardens and domes built with the community

The challenge: Places that needed to treat their water, grow food and have gathering spaces, with solutions people could maintain.
What we did: We designed and built constructed wetlands, terraced gardens, geodesic domes and nurseries, with training for their care.
Outcome: Living infrastructure up and running and communities trained to maintain it.
